abstract = "Quality in multimedia presentations is indelibly linked to the user multimedia experience. In this paper, we investigate the influence of user cognitive styles on perceived distributed multimedia quality. We use the Quality of Perception (QoP) concept to characterize the latter, and allow users to specify their desired QoS delivery level. Results show that QoS does not influence perceived multimedia quality, although dynamism and colour do, depending on the user cognitve style, impact the user multimedia experience.",
