摘要
To understand the two-photon excitation dynamics, femtosecond time-resolved transient absorption and Z-scan methods were employed. From these studies, the contribution of excited state absorption from that due to direct two-photon absorbers was separated. Efficient two-photon up-conversion lasing and power limiting was achieved. Another phenomenon, two-photon backward-stimulated emission phase-conjugation was also found.
