The two-stage varying-humidity steaming of substrates coated with zeolite precursors were analyzed. During the analysis, the precursor for silicate-1 was prepared from a clear solution of TEOPS (tetraethyl orthosilicate), TPAOH (ettrapropyl ammonium hydrate), and water. It was found that the water/silica molar ratio and humidity under wihich the steaming was accomplished, played an important role in the formation of zeolite. The analysis showed that a strong and uniform structure of zeolite nanocrystals can be possible if steaming at low humidity can generate enough crystal nuclei.
