摘要

In this study, the reverse fault is modeled using Particle Flow Code in Two Dimensions (PFC2D). We have simulated a numerical model based on the sandbox test of a previous study at 80g condition corresponding to the model type maximum vertical displacement of 5 cm of the hanging wall. The simulation results indicate that the stress state of sand particles assembly is strongly affected by some factors such as the lateral force of the fault, the boundary effect, and the development of the shear zone. It is also found that the arrangement of particle assembly plays an essential role in the change of stress state, which becomes complicated during and after the fault offset.
