摘要
Projectiles of H3+, He+, N2+, and Ar+ were applied to bombard a H2O ice; then the masses and the optical emissions of sputtered particles were studied. It was found that some of sputtered particles identified as H, H2 and OH by the quadropule mass spectrometer (QMS) as well as their corresponding optical spectra of H, H2 and OH are detected too. In the cases of He+, N2+and Ar+ bombarding the iced water they produced same light emissions of H and OH, however H3+ induced a continuous band of light spectrum from hydrogen molecule H 2. In this report also presents that the radiation intensity was measured as a function of beam energy and the angle of incidence.
