This is a case study to theorize how project team culture affects an information institution implementation by an organizational culture framework. We think that CMMI implementation success is positively related with project team culture along the eight dimensions of organizational culture, such as Orientation to change, Control& coordination& responsibility, Orientation to collaboration, Basis of truth and rationality, Motivation, Orientation to work, Orientation & focus, Nature of time horizon. The results indicate the extent of the impact in CMMI implementation. In addition, we develop a cultural construction that shows the dimensions of culture that best facilitate project team in CMMI implementation.
