The correction factor of Resilient modulus from FWD applied to Structural analysis of routine maintenance on freeway

摘要

Base on the statement from flexible pavement design guide of ASSHTO in 1993, the resilient modulus from back-calculation of calibrated deflection value is not equal to the resilient modulus measured from repetitive loading test in laboratory. To analysis strength of pavement structure , a coefficient of resilient modulus is necessary. The National Freeway has been going into the step of repairing and maintaining, hence the purpose of this study is to use localized deflection value calibration mode which is developed by National Central University, to analyze the correlation between deflection value after calibration and back-calculation, also study on the establishment of localized back-calculation correction factor on the routine maintained section of The National Freeway of Guan-xi section. Last, import traffic value to analyzes and discusses application on flexible pavement overlay design. In this way, we can know if the strength of the pavement is enough, and provides effective application on FWD to freeway maintenance organization.
