摘要

Based on the mechanism of electrochemical/chemical reaction kinetics in the presence of both CO2 and O2, a novel bimedical sensor technique for real-time and dynamic monitoring is developed by combining computer-controlled fast-modulated potential technique with microelectrode method. The modulated potential pulse amperometry/coulometry (MPPA/MPPC) method provided a real-time and dynamic transduction method integrated with measurement, treatment and display of signals for rapid simultaneous detection of CO2 and O2. The sensor is expected to be successfully used for the non-invasive, real-time, and dynamic monitoring of both gases CO2 and O2 in the biorespiratory processes.
