abstract = "This work aims to determine the seasonality of the local-time variations in ionospheric scintillation and ionospheric electron density as observed by Formosat-3/COSMIC. COSMIC quantifies ionospheric scintillation with the S4 index. S4 index and ionospheric electron density profiles from COSMIC will be gridded into bi-monthly local-time latitude bins. Previous studies have already shown that local-time variabilities in the ionosphere are driven by atmospheric tides. These tides were also shown to peak during Equinox and Solstice seasons. And so, we will present the average local-time latitude profiles in March Equinox, September Equinox, June Solstice and December Solstice. Comparing these tidal signatures in S4 index and in electron density local-time variations will provide us insights on how atmospheric tides affect ionospheric scintillation.",
