Probing WW couplings through pp WX at the fermilab tevatron

摘要

We investigated the possibilities of probing the WW couplings through pp»WX at the Fermilab Tevatron. Of the seven general form factors fi, i=1,e,7, only four are independent for an on-shell photon. We may obtain bounds of order 0.5 and 0.1, respectively, on f2 and f7 when the integrated luminosity at the Tevatron reaches a few pb-1. It is difficult to obtain useful bounds on f6 and "f3 the deviation of f3 from its standard-model value, even if the polarization of W or can be measured.
