摘要

When blood is applied to biomaterials, there is an initial adsorption of serum proteins. This is followed by platelet adhesion and activation of coagulation pathways, leading to thrombus formation. Several surface-modified polysulfone (PSf) hollow fibers were prepared with chemical modification. In this study, the polymerization of vinylpyrrolidone (VP) acryl morpholine (ACMO), N,N'-dimethyl acylamide(DMAA) and zwitterionic monomer of N,N-dimethyl-N- methacryloxyethyl-N-(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium betaine (SPE) on the surface of the polysulfone hollow fibers is reported. Platelet adhesion and serum protein adsorption on the polysulfone membranes conjugated with SPE, VP, ACMO and DMAA polymer on the surface from human plasma are investigated.
