摘要

The ability of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) to reduce CO2 under different operational parameters was studied using a laboratory-scale reactor and simulated gas streams. Results showed that DBD can remove CO2 from gas streams with efficiencies > 30% for conditions operating at room temperature. Also, an increase in O2 content in the typical flue gas streams would reduce removal efficiency of CO2CO2) since the main product (CO) is oxidized to form CO2. An increase in inlet [CH4] enhanced ηCO2.
