摘要

Palladium oxide (PdO) is a useful catalyst. In principle it could also be used as an energy converter both of the photovoltaic and the electrocatalytic type, because of its strong optical absorption in the visible range. PdO can be used as a pH sensor for biomedical applications. PdO as pH sensor offers advantages over the glass electrode, that it can be readily miniaturized and is not thrombogenic.
