Low cost, commercially available piezo ring for microfluidics interfacing with mass spectrometry

摘要

This paper report using a ring-shaped piezoelectric atomizer to interface polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microfluidic device with matrix-free laser desorption/ionization (MALDI-MS) mass spectrometry. The mist spraying procedure, pulsatile pumping effects as well as the MS performance were reported.
