Impact of environmental change and heterogeneity of aquifer on interflow resources under river bed: A case study from Xi-Luo section of Zhuo-Shui River

摘要

Soil property under river bed, recharge from rainfall, and the elevation of the water table are important parameters for the interflow discharge as shown in the field data and experiment in laboratory. Little literature focused on the influence of environmental change (recharge from rainfall) and heterogeneity of aquifer (soil property), so these two parameters were discussed in this study. If the setting depth of the getting pipe for interflow is shallower, the varied uncertainty of the interflow discharge influenced by heterogeneity of aquifer would be larger. The descended rate of elevation of water table on Xi-Luo region was 3-4 meters per year caused by the environmental change, including the change of human-affected ground water resources and long-term climate changing. In order to get more accurate inflow discharge, therefore, more detailed field date such as human-affected water quantity and heterogeneity of local area were needed.
