摘要

Total electron content has been a constant topic of research in nowadays. Therefore, the characteristics of ionospheric parameters are fairly well known now. The largest positioning error of single-frequency global positioning system (GPS) is due to the unknown excess delay of the signal as it propagates through the ionosphere. Especially, the most single-frequency GPS users are likely to be located in the middle latitude of the world. Therefore, the reduction of the ionospheric bias is one of the most important procedures to improve ambiguity resolution process. We use the FormoSat3/constellation observing system for meteorology ionosphere and climate (COSMIC) GPS radio occultation (RO) measurements to construct the Taiwan ionospheric model (TWIM). Compensated for the total electron content is also performed. The ionosphere model algorithms will be presented and discussed in this paper.
