abstract = "This paper presents the applicability of fuzzy techniques to image interpolation for producing high-resolution images. The fuzzy theory is firstly adopted in finding a proper modification for the distances in interpolation formulas. By considering local features around the interpolated point, a more accurate estimate of interpolated value could be obtained via the proposed algorithm. Experimental comparisons presented in numerical PSNRs demonstrate the superior effectiveness of the proposed method.",
