摘要

The present study aims to identify which phases during learning by teaching play the critical roles and to investigate how student ability and pairing types mutually influence students' performance in each phase and the overall achievement. To this end, learning-by-teaching was applied with the form of reciprocal peer tutoring in a seventh-grade math course. Students' achievement scores, preparing-to-teach worksheets and verbal records during tutoring were collected for future conversational and quantitative analysis.
