摘要
In this research we are developing a sensor device for detecting specific ions in plating solutions based on an electrochemical approach using microelectronic fabrication techniques. The design is based on applying the results of a mathematical model describing band electrode performance. The sensor has been tested for detecting ferric and ferrous ions in Fe-Zn, Watts Nickel, and Ni-Zn baths. The results show the sensor is reliable and suitable for these applications and shows promise for other applications as well.
