N2 - In this study, data from previously generated static creep tests conducted on a HIPped nitride material were extracted. In line with this, several strain relaxation tests were conducted as an analytical supplement. The existing Pao and Marin model was also modified to accommodate dynamic or cyclic loading. Finally, the cyclic creep response was predicted using information from the static and strain relaxation test sources, and then compared with experimentally generated cyclic creep responses. Throughout the study, emphasis was directed towards the role of the viscoelastic or anelastic secondary phase on the cyclic creep performance.
