Connectivities and synchronous firing in cortical neuronal networks

摘要

The use of synchronized firing to study the connectivities and synchronous firing in cortical neuronal networks was analyzed. It was found that the network connectivities (k̄) were determined from the correlation between fluorescence intensities of firing neurons. It was found that the brusting frequency (f) of the networks was an increasing function of k̄. It was concluded that a simple random model could be construted by taking f to be proportional to the k̄.
