摘要
The superplastic forming/diffusion bonding process for manufacturing three and four sheet structures is numerically simulated, and the general purpose finite element program MARC was chosen to perform the analysis. An incremental displacement approach based on updated Lagrangian formulation as well as an elastic-viscoplastic material model with a power law stress-strain rate hardening behavior are assumed. The full Newton-Raphson incremental-iterative solution procedure is employed. Frictional contact conditions yield additional constraint relations which, together with equilibrium equations, form the basis for derivation of a consistent tangent matrix.
