title = "Comparison of various delay analysis methodologies for construction projects",
abstract = "Schedule delays frequently occur in construction projects. There are many methodologies developed and used for the analysis and measurement of construction schedule delays. The popular and comparatively accepted methodologies include the time impact method, the collapsed as-built method and the windows method. However, no one method is accepted for all project participants and suitable for all situations. This study compared five delay analysis methodologies including the as-planned expanded method, the collapsed as-built analysis method, the snapshot analysis method, the windows analysis method and the isolated delay type method. This study not only compared the features of capabilities and required documents, but also dissected analysis process and employing timing for all discussed methods.",
