Compact Dual-Band LNA Design Using A Bridged-T Coil-Based Matching Network

摘要

In this paper, a compact dual-band low-noise amplifier (LNA) is proposed, in which a dual-band impedance matching network based on the dual-band design of bridged-T coil is employed for achieving the desired dual-band response. The proposed dual-band LNA is implemented through the heterogeneous integration of 0.18-μm CMOS and integrated passive device (IPD) technologies. The measured small-signal gain is 21.4/12.4 dB at 2.2/5.5 GHz, while the measured noise Figure is 3.5/3.1dB. Good linearity is also achieved and the measured input P1dB is-12/-8 dBm at 2.2/5.5 GHz.
