摘要
Data concerning the spectra of background x-ray and gamma-ray radiations at various segments of an orbit of the KORONAS-I satellite in the range from 30 keV to 50 MeV are presented. The background spectra were measured by a detector with a crystal CsI(Tl). At a minimum counting rate, the background is approximated by a function with two power law exponents. When compared to the SMM satellite, the experimental background conditions aboard KORONAS-I are shown to be only slightly worse: the background counting rate of the AVS instrument insignificantly exceeds the corresponding SMM counting rate. Thereby, good conditions for recording solar flares and gamma ray bursts are provided.
