title = "A radiation prediction method based on partial element equivalent circuit",
abstract = "In this paper, a new radiation prediction method based on partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) is proposed. Unlike complex inductance and capacitance used in PEEC, the proposed method utilizes real inductance and capacitance to predict the relative current distribution and then determine the radiation resistance by the integration of Poynting vector. With the proposed circuit model, scattering parameters and radiated power of arbitrary radiation structure could be predicted. Because of the real inductance and capacitance assumption, the proposed model is suitable for small radiator that the size is smaller than one wavelength. A thin-strip half-wavelength dipole antenna is taken as example to validate the proposed method and make sure the assumptions are valid.",
