A D-Band Waveguide-Feed Patch Array on GaAs IPD Process

摘要

A D-band WR-6 waveguide-feed $1 \times 4$ series type patch array using GaAs substrate integrated passive device (IPD) process is realized in this paper. The array comprised by a $1 \times 4$ series type patch, a transition of microstrip-to-substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW), and a right angle transition of SIW-to-WR-6 waveguide. A dielectric resonator (DR) is used for improve the bandwidth and reduce the loss of the transition of SIW-to-WR-6 waveguide. The proposed waveguide-feed patch array sis well suited for Sub-THz integrated system modules.
