資料集描述

We performed a series of imbibition experiments to examine air entrapment in 2 and 2.5 D micromodels whose pore structures were made by stacking 160-μm thick Cyclic Block Copolymer films, into which pores were engraved with a desktop micromiller. The 2D micromodels consisting of n CBC layers with the same pore structure were termed “2D-n-layer”. The 2.5D micromodels consisting of n CBC layers with non-uniform pore structures were termed “2.5D-n-layer”.

The "mp4" files show those imbibition experiments. The file names refer to the "model"-"injection rate"-"playback speed". For instance, "2_5D-8-layer-3ul_min_32x.mp4" means 2.5D-8-layer micromodel, 3 ul/min of injection rate, and 32 times of playback speed.

The "gif" files show the thickness of the wetting phase indicated by colors (thicker one indicated by a lighter color).
