Abstract

This paper discusses a comparative study of NiO- BaCe₀54Zr₀36Y0.1O2.95 (BCZY) anode composite that undergoes XRD analyses. The prepared anode composite powders with different synthesizing methods were denoted as S1 (modified solid-state reaction), S2 (sol–gel method), and S3 (solid-state reaction). In a few decades, the study of fuel cells that convert chemical energy to electrical energy has gained worldwide interest. This work aims to focus on the reactivity and crystallography data of sintered NiO-BaCe₀54Zr₀36Y0.1O2.95 anode composite. Xpert Highscore is the software that has been used to assist the analyses. The data obtained in this study are compared with literature to establish the understanding of XRD analysis regarding the use of NiO-BCZY anode composite for the application in a protonic ceramic fuel cell.
