Abstract

Integrating drone technology and artificial intelligence (AI) education into the curriculum requirements of the Taiwanese 12-year basic education for senior high schools provides a disruptive approach to education in light of rapid technological advancements. Utilizing Python programming and the YOLO (You Only Look Once) package, this study proposes a curriculum structure that encompasses drone control and AI-based image recognition. The program primarily aims to develop students' computational thinking and AI literacy, foster integrated project-based learning, and enhance problem-solving abilities.
