Abstract

We are using basket electrodes to validate electrical-thermal computer models of RF catheter ablation for the cure of tachycardias. We have measured electrical characteristics of the basket electrode and shown that accuracy degrades above 100 kHz. We present some preliminary measurements and suggest considerations for the validation RF the model for RF catheter ablation.
