Abstract

Our study was focused on ultrasound detection and nondestructive measurement experiments based on the TWMI technique. We modified the conventional TWMI by means of re-uses the wasted reference, and increased the optical efficiency. The configuration of our new designed TWMI system will be introduced and some nondestructive measurement applications are demonstrated. Experimental results show that TWMI's sensitivity is good enough to see the details of ultrasound and can be applied in defect detection.
