Abstract

Robo copper: A mechanically robust corrugated sheet, 1 DOP-Cu, is composed of mats of individual chain-bundles joined by π-π interactive forces (see structure). Upon electrochemical charge injection into 1 DOP-Cu, the variations of the cell parameters of the Li-inserted phase were observed by X-ray diffraction. The mechanical deformation of the whole sheet is produced by a Cu11/Cu1 redox process.
