Abstract

The in-situ prepared polyaniline film on aniline-silane modified ITO has a better electrochemical activity and stability compare to the solution casted polyaniline film. The polymeric organic light emitting diode (POLED) using this in-situ prepared polyaniline film as a hole blocking layer and MEH-PPV as an emitting polymer has a turn on voltage of ca. 7.0 V, which is 2.0 V lower than that of POLED without polyaniline layer.
