Abstract

The Raman effect influence on ultrashort pulse in optical fiber is investigated by using experimental data of delay response function. The frozen of the Raman effect is clarified by using nonlinear Schrödinger equation and finite difference time domain method. In Raman freezing region, a more stable soliton propagation is obtained when the initial power is enhanced.
