Abstract

The temporal and spatial uniformity of a phase conjugate wave generated from photorefractive self-pumped phase conjugators was analyzed. The phase perturbation was found to be cause by the thermal effect in the crystals. The thermal effect induced by the incident and the reflected waves, was the most factor to the phase perturbation.
