Abstract

Since most of data transmission is transmitted via public media, the security of information is thus very important, especially for those confidential data. Currently, most of the security systems own their particular protocol. When they are used via public networks, they will arise the attention and interest of attacking by those whom like hackers. Data embedding is one of the solutions to remedy this problem. The benefits of utilizing data embedding techniques are twofold. First is the using of a very general host image or media data as the cover image will reduce the attacking interest and thus increase the information security. The second advantage is that every security system used in the Internet must open its protocol. By using the previous idea, the protocol of the security system will be covered by the outer host image and thus could protect the security system. Besides, in order to decode the transmitted data successfully, a novel block spread spectrum technique is also provided to increase the data surviving and recovery rate from lots of different attacks.
