Abstract
A search for the CP-violating asymmetry in the decay B0 → D*±D∓ using two methods of B 0 reconstruction, was performed. It was observed that in the full reconstruction method all daughter particles of the B0 were required to be detected. The presence of a lepton (ltag) in the event was required to provide flavor tagging, suppress the continuum background to a negligible level and also reduce the combinatorial BB̄ background. It was found that in the partial reconstruction case, flavor tagging was provided by the high momentum lepton required in the event.
