Abstract

In this paper, a unified/simultaneous treatment of both robust stability and mixed-norm performance for uncertain fuzzy systems representing a class of nonlinear control systems is considered. Specifically, we investigate robust fuzzy controller synthesis for an uncertain fuzzy system such that a mixed H2/H performance is offered along with quadratic stability. The underlying controller gains have an explicit expression in terms of a common solution to Algebraic Riccati Inequalities (ARIs). One set of algebraic Riccati inequalities is required for static output feedback control. An LMI-based approach is used to construct the fuzzy controllers.
