Abstract

This paper presents a way to reduce energy consumption which is a modified zero-voltage switching pulse width-modulation inverter with a digital signal- processor-based proportional-integral-derivative (PID)-like fuzzy controller (PIDFC). DC to AC energy transformation with a highly inverter device having a Fuzzy controller design, it can be shown that a soft-switching feature can be used to reduce switching losses and improve the converting efficiency significantly. Facing the reduction of energy loss for inverter controller design, comparisons between simulation and experimental results which included traditional PID controller approaching to improve around 75% with simulation results, actually, experimental results still can be improved around 35%, are validated.
