Abstract

This paper reports a real-time detection of DNA polymerase reaction throughmass sensing with film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) coated withself-assembled DNA sequences. This label-free, real-time detection of DNAsynthesis can potentially lead to detection of single nucleotide addition forDNA sequencing application, which can be developed into a low-cost,third-generation DNA sequencing system capable of reading thousands ofnucleotides in a single run.
