Abstract

ADSL has been one of major last-mile network solutions today. However, current ISPs only offer best-effort broadband serices. It would be a challenge to regulate those traffic by subscriber and ensure the quality of service for each flows to conform its requirements. This letter focuses on such a problem and proposes a novel bandwidth management scheme, Postgate.
