Abstract

The alpha,beta-crystals in polystyrene were studied. The thermal behavior, crystal structures, thermodynamics, kinetics and stability of these two major crystal packings upon melt crystallization was compared with those behaviors upon cold crystallization. Melting behavior, diffractograms as well as infrared spectra of the samples were analyzed.
