Abstract

The implementation of an achromatic beam expander with both parabolic mirrors which locate on the both sides of one substrate for a zoom beam expander system is carried out. Calculations have demonstrated that the planar beam expander is an achromatic, aberration-less optical system, and has thinner volume compared with the conventional beam expander. The measured results show that the fabricated samples have the desired function.
