Abstract

By using fast-sweeping fiber distributed Bragg reflector lasers and wideband/high-power photonic transmitter-mixers at W-band, continuously tunable chirped millimeter-wave waveforms generation, wireless transmission, and detection with record-high compression ratio (89-103 GHz/50μs/7×105) can be achieved.
