Abstract

SiO2-TiO2 neutral sols were prepared by peroxo sol-gel method. They were coated on the glass substrate. The characteristics of the SiO2/TiO2 hydrosol and film were characterized by SEM, TEM, HRTEM, XPS and UV-Vis. SiO2/TiO2 film with Si/Ti atomic ratio of 5 had the highest activity based on the same amount of TiO2 and high antireflection property.
