Abstract

In this paper, we develop an analytical model to estimate the performance of Clos networks with output buffers under bursty input traffic. The analytical model is solved at two levels. The first level submodel estimates the buffer length distribution. The second level submodel estimates the cell loss probability at the output buffer for all each given the buffer length distributions obtained from the first level submodel.
