Peer grading system based on social relations on MOOC

Abstract

In recent years, with the popularity of Internet technology, online e-learning has become more and more well known. Flipped Classroom, MOOCs (Massive Open Online Course) are becoming the innovative study type. MOOC is one of the representatives of an online teaching concept. Under this situation, a great number of student attend a course, the teacher will have the burden because of the more and more student's homework. In such an environment, this study presents a new peer grading system which is consider students' social network first, student's communication information get from the online discussion board, and then, assign appropriate assessment for the student. Peer grading in computer courses can also get more accurate evaluation results, improve students learning effect. And this study effectively improves the peer assessment of fairness issues.
