Abstract
In this research we employ mathematic programming techniques to develop an integer programming model which can help the decision maker effectively solve water pipeline repair operator-machine work assignment problems to complete all repair cases. To demonstrate the model application and to preliminarily test the model in practice, a case study was performed using real operating data from a repairing contractor. The test results show that the model could be useful references for both academics and practices.
