On the distribution of torsion points modulo primes: the case of function fields

We derive an analogue, in the setting of function fields, of a result (Chen–Kuan) on the distribution of torsion points in commutative algebraic groups modulo primes. Thereafter, we exploit a Drinfeld A-module analogue on the distribution of A-torsion points modulo primes, where A is the ring of elements of a function field that are regular outside a fixed place.
